Ονειρωρυχείο στην Παγκόσμια Πρωτεύουσα Βιβλίου

Ένα ραντεβού σε λαβύρινθο, ένα καλειδοσκόπιο ονείρων, ένα ημερολόγιο ανέλπιστων συναντήσεων. Το Ονειρωρυχείο θα μπορούσε να ανήκει στο είδος του μυθιστορήματος, αλλά σε ένα είδος μυθιστορήματος θραυσματικού που απορρίπτει την αφηγηματική γραμμικότητα, ακολουθώντας αντ’αυτής τη «λογική» των ονείρων και αντιμετωπίζοντας την πράξη της ανάγνωσης ως performance και τελετουργία. Το Ονειρωρυχείο είναι το δεύτερο βιβλίο της Αντριάνας Μίνου που κυκλοφόρησε πρόσφατα από τις εκδόσεις Παράξενες Μέρες. Το βιβλίο κινείται γύρω από το θεματικό τρίπτυχο όνειρο – λαβύρινθος – συνάντηση και αποτελείται από τρεις διαφορετικές συγγραφικές «φωνές», οι οποίες εναλλάσσονται, ενώ το κάθε ύφος είναι τυπωμένο σε διαφορετική φορά, ένα ίσια, ένα πλάγια κι ένα ανάποδα. Με αυτόν τον τρόπο η αίσθηση μιας ονειρικής διαδρομής σε λαβύρινθο, η οποία διαπνέει ολόκληρο το βιβλίο, περνάει και στην ίδια την πράξη της ανάγνωσής του, καθώς ο αναγνώστης μπορεί να το διαβάσει με πολλούς διαφορετικούς τρόπους, είτε κρατώντας πάντα το βιβλίο με τον ίδιο τρόπο και διαβάζοντας κάθε φορά μόνο τις σελίδες που είναι τυπωμένες με την ίδια φορά, είτε – αν αποφασίσει να διαβάσει όλες τις σελίδες με τη σειρά από την αρχή ως το τέλος – στρέφοντας το βιβλίο γύρω γύρω ανάλογα με τη φορά που είναι τυπωμένες οι σελίδες. Δύο μάλιστα από τις σελίδες μπορούν να αναγνωστούν μόνο μέσα από καθρέφτη. Μέσα από την ονειρική υφή, το ανοιχτό σχήμα και τη θραυσματικότητα, το Ονειρωρυχείο αναγνωρίζει και «ξαναχαρίζει» στον κάθε αναγνώστη ξεχωριστά την ελευθερία να συναρμολογεί το βιβλίο μέσα στο μυαλό του, ενώ ταυτόχρονα διεκδικεί – παρά την ονειρική του υπόσταση – μια θέση στην «πραγματικότητα» του αναγνώστη, λες και προσπαθεί να ενσαρκωθεί μέσα από την τελετουργική διαδικασία της ανάγνωσής του. Την αποψινή ενσάρκωση του Ονειρωρυχείου μέσα στους χώρους του Άτοπος έχει αναλάβει το σύνολο Coocoolili, μια ομάδα μουσικής performance με βάση το Λονδίνο που ψάχνει απεγνωσμένα το περιβόητο «μεταξύ σοβαρού και αστείου». Τα δωμάτια του Άτοπος μεταμορφώνονται σε έναν ονειρικό λαβύρινθο κατοικημένο από θραύσματα του βιβλίου, τα οποία το κοινό μπορεί να εξερευνήσει μέσα σε ένα installation /τελετουργικό παιχνίδι λέξεων, εικόνων και ήχων που οδηγούν σε μια συνάντηση με μια (ίσως) απροσδόκητη ερώτηση: εγώ διαβάζω το βιβλίο ή το βιβλίο εμένα; Η διαδρομή καταλήγει σε μια μουσική performance με αποσπάσματα του βιβλίου πλαισιωμένα από μεγάλα σουξέ τα οποία το κοινό είναι (παραπάνω από) ευπρόσδεκτο να (σιγο)τραγουδήσει. 19:30 Εγκατάσταση του Ονειρωρυχείου μέσα στο Fluffy Library 21:00 Περφόρμανς με το σύνολο Coocoolili Coocoolili: Άρτεμις Ιγνατίδου, Αντριάνα Μίνου, Μαρία Ξυπάκη, Χάρης Σασλής, Κριστίν Σωφρονίου Video: Εύη Μίνου Installation: Αντριάνα Μίνου Βιογραφικά Η Αντριάνα Μίνου είναι κυρίως μουσικός και συγγραφέας και ζει στο Λονδίνο από το 2004. Το 2010 ολοκλήρωσε τη διδακτορική της διατριβή πάνω στα τελευταία έργα του συνθέτη Γιάννη Χρήστου στο Goldsmiths, University of London. Είναι ιδρυτικό και ενεργό μέλος πολλών συνόλων μουσικής performance όπως οι Oiseaux Bizarres Εnsemble, Coocoolili, Vladimir&estragon piano Duo κ.α. Το φθινόπωρο του 2017 κυκλοφόρησε από τις εκδόσεις Παράξενες Μέρες το δεύτερο βιβλίο της, «Ονειρωρυχείο», ένα θραυσματικό μυθιστόρημα σε σχήμα λαβύρινθου, όπου εξερευνά μεταξύ άλλων την πράξη της ανάγνωσης ως performance και τελετουργία. Το σύνολο Coocoolili είναι μια ομάδα μουσικών/performers που παρουσιάζουν τακτικά βραδιές μουσικής performance γύρω από ένα συγκεκριμένο θέμα στο μπαρ/μουσική σκηνή Jamboree του Λονδίνου. Το σύνολο αποτελείται από μια σταθερή ομάδα που συνεργάζεται και με καλεσμένους καλλιτέχνες, τραγουδιστές, stand up comedians, performers, χορευτές, μαριονετίστες, ποιητές, μάγους (!) που παρουσιάζουν δουλειά τους πάνω στο θέμα της κάθε βραδιάς. Στις παραστάσεις τους συνδυάζουν πολλά διαφορετικά στυλ με ξεδιάντροπη ευκολία, ανάλογα με τη διάθεσή τους και το αλλοπρόσαλλο γούστο τους. O ATOPOS CVC εγκαινιάζει έναν ολόκληρο χρόνο δράσεων γύρω από το βιβλίο, το κείμενο, την τέχνη και την ανάγνωση στο πλαίσιο της διοργάνωσης “Αθήνα 2018, Παγκόσμια Πρωτεύουσα Βιβλίου” με τίτλο #TextMe σε επιμέλεια του Βασίλη Ζηδιανάκη. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, ο ερευνητής Φιλ Ιερόπουλος ανέλαβε να επιμεληθεί το πρόγραμμα #TextMe_Lab το οποίο περιλαμβάνει διαλέξεις, συζητήσεις, εργαστήρια, performances και μικρές εκθέσεις καλλιτεχνών/ιδων και ακαδημαϊκών. Το συνδετικό νήμα του προγράμματος είναι οι υβριδικές γλώσσες που προκύπτουν όταν το κείμενο συνδυάζεται με άλλα καλλιτεχνικά μέσα. Η οπτική ποίηση, το spoken word και τα όρια μεταξύ ποίησης και ηχητικής τέχνης, τα σύγχρονα γλωσσικά φαινόμενα στη διαδικτυακή ποπ κουλτούρα και τα νέα μέσα, καθώς και η σχέση λέξης και οθόνης, είναι κάποια από τα κύρια θέματα του #Textme_Lab. A blind date in a labyrinth; a kaleidoscope of dreams; a diary of unanticipated encounters; Dream-mine might be a novel of some sort, yet a type of fragmental novel, rejecting narrative linearity and following a dream “logic” instead, while it deals with the act of reading as performance and ritual. Dream-mine is Andriana Minou’s second book by Strange Days Publications (part of it also translated in English and published in Verbivoracious Press’ Festschrift about the Oulipo movement). The book revolves around the triptych of dream – labyrinth – encounter and consists of three different writing “voices” that alternate, while each writing style is printed in its own layout, portrait, landscape and upside-down. This way the feeling of a dreamlike walk through a labyrinth, which permeates the entire book, also affects the act of reading itself, as the reader may read it in many different ways; either holding the book the same way and skipping pages or – if they decide to read the book cover to cover – rotating the book depending on the way the pages are printed. Two of those pages can only be read through a mirror. Through its dreamlike texture, its open shape and its fragmentation, Dream-mine acknowledges and grants each reader the freedom to assemble the book in their mind, while it also claims – in spite of its dreamlike nature – a space in the reader’s “reality”, as if the book is struggling for its incarnation through the ritual process of its reading. Tonight’s incarnation of Dream-mine in Atopos will be performed by Coocoolili, a music performance group based in London, desperately searching for the legendary “half in earnest, half in jest”. The spaces of Atopos transform into a dream-labyrinth, inhabited by fragments of the book, which may be explored by the audience within an installation/ritual game of speech, images and sounds leading to an encounter with a (perhaps) unexpected question; is it me reading the book or the book reading me? In 2010 she completed her doctoral dissertation on the late works by composer Jani Christou at Goldsmiths, University of London. She is a founding and active member of many musical ensembles such as Oiseaux Bizarres Ensemble, Coocoolili, Vladimir & Estragon Piano Duo and others. In the autumn of 2017, her second book, "Dream-Mine", was published by the label Strange Days. Dream-mine is a fragmented labyrinthian novel where exploring, amongst other things, the act of reading as a performance and ritual. The Coocoolili ensemble is a group of musicians/performers who regularly present events of musical performance around a particular theme at London's Jamboree bar / live music venue. The ensemble consists of a stable team that works with invited artists, singers, stand up comedians, performers, dancers, puppeteers, poets, magicians (!) who present work of theirs that relates to the theme of each night. In their performances, Coocoolili combine many different styles with shameless ease, depending on their mood and their obscure taste. ATOPOS CVC inaugurates the #TextMe project, a year of actions and events on books and text in media arts in the context of UNESCO’s ‘Athens 2018, World Book Capital’. #TextMe was an original concept by Atopos artistic director Vassilis Zidianakis. Within this context, researcher Fil ieropoulos has curated #TextMe_Lab, a series of lectures, discussions, workshops and residencies of artists and academics at Atopos. The projects will revolve around the thematic of using text in artistic forms and interdisciplinary language applications. Some of the main points of interest of the programme are visual poetry, word and screen relationships, spoken word and the boundaries between poetry and sound art, as well as modern linguistic phenomena in online pop culture and new media.
